Consider the Lilys

Consider the lilies how they grow: they toil not, they spin not; and yet I say unto you, that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
If God so clothe the grass, which is today in the field, and tomorrow is cast into the oven; how much more will he clothe you, oh ye of little faith? Luke 12:27,28

a creative journey: jewel tones beaded bangle

New beads (the big ones) required a new stitch for a new creation. I was gifted these beautiful, berry lined light topaz ab finish, 6/0 beads recently and I've never used this size or color beads before. I spent a couple hrs trying to find the perfect pattern to fit them, after trying a couple ideas that just didn't work out, I found the russian spiral stitch. Then a few more hrs trying to find the perfect complementary beads to bring out their mesmerizing jewel tones. No single color seemed to work and I took my work apart several times before deciding on three  different metallic colors, brown iris, amethyst iris and June bug. Once I started with this combination, I never looked back and I am totally in love with the finished bangle. 😍
