Consider the Lilys

Consider the lilies how they grow: they toil not, they spin not; and yet I say unto you, that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
If God so clothe the grass, which is today in the field, and tomorrow is cast into the oven; how much more will he clothe you, oh ye of little faith? Luke 12:27,28

Raising Luna Moths: Hatch Time

Well so far 2 tiny caterpillars have hatched. I found one this morning before I left the house, and another one when I got back a couple hours later. They are so tiny, and cute.
I am feeding them Hickory leaves. They stay on the underside of the leaves.

I think their little facial markings are adorable. I took these pictures of them with the macro setting on my phone. It isn't the best camera, but it takes fairly decent pictures.

Babies and Mom
It's amazing these tiny, fuzzy, little worm like creatures will grow up to become huge beautiful Lunas.
This is what I am starting the little caterpillars in. A small plastic storage container with pieces of hickory leaves, and a lid, but no air holes. According to everything I read, this is one of the best ways to keep them, especially when they first hatch.
