| Some of the eggs I found turned out to be salamander eggs. You can see the feathery gills already formed on the baby closest. It will probably hatch in another couple days. |

| These tadpoles came from the tiny black eggs. This is right after hatch. |

| They grow pretty fast. Some of them are black, others are lighter with markings like the one in the center. |
